We are appealing to lovers of elephants everywhere with our ‘Footsteps to Freedom’ campaign. This initiative has been set up to rescue Asian elephants that are in need. In 2002 Chas Begley and Rachel Jones rescued three street elephants in their ‘Bringing the Elephants Home’ campaign. They walked two of them through the heart of Thailand in an educational campaign to raise awareness. Every day, they helped Thai and Siam take one step closer to a new life. Now it’s your turn.
Footsteps cost just £15 each. 300 footsteps are all it takes to rescue one elephant.
Throughout Asia, domesticated elephants are suffering - whether it is through begging on the streets, illegal logging or abuse. Without our help, hundreds of elephants will continue to die each year because of a lack of sufficient funds.
Make a difference, buy a footstep and help us help them!
